Feedback ,let me know what you think my chances are.

Ok, so I go to High school in Florida at probably the top public school in the state(spanish river high school), I currently have I 3.2 GPA (weighted) 90th percentile on the SAT's(taking my second one in April) with 4 Ap's to my name and almost all honors classes, freshman year I basically breezed by and at it's conclusion I had a 3.73 GPA,but sophmore year and The first semester of this year were a different story ,much of this has been due to family complications and distractions ,my grades are improving but I'm wondering if it's too little too late, also I have a pretty substantial list of Extra Curriculars including : being a 3 year graduate of the gilder lehrman history academy and being a 2008 National history day Finalist for the state of Florida(catagory: Video). so anyways let me know what you think of my chances for getting in to the following colleges:

University of Wisconsin-

Boston University

Rutgers University

Georgia Tech University

Northeastern University

Penn State University

University of Texas

University of Connecticut

thoughts..?

You’re not looking at one in-state college?? Can your family afford to pay full freight out-of-state? Some of these are huge reaches (UTx).

In order to give you a reasonable guess at your chances, we need the unweighted GPA, and specific SATs.

Penn State is extremely difficult to get into for out-of-state students, and since they have so many applicants they rely mainly on GPA and test scores. If you get your SATs as high as possible, they may look closer at the reasoning behind your lower GPA, but otherwise it may be a reach as well. A few of my friends (from PA) were rejected this year with 3.75 GPAs and around 2100 SAT scores.

Wisconsin is a probably a reach…at least if you’re looking at Madison.
