Feedback Needed: $15

<p>i really appreciate it, i know these things look stupid but i need some feedback</p>

Public School</p>

<p>-GPA: 3.65 UW
-SAT: 690 CR; 670 M; 650 W (retaking soon, bringing them up over 700, confident)
-AP Tests: Environmental Science 4; World History 4
-Class Rank: 23 out of 280. top 10%</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:
-President of Student Council (sr.)
-Class Vice President (fr-jr)
-National Honor Society President (sr)
-NHS member (soph-jr)
-Soccer (4 years, 2 years varsity)
-Track (winter/spring)
-Captain of School's first debate team (sr)</p>

-Represented High School at Massachusetts Student Gov't Day at State House
-Represented High School at HOBY Youth Leadership program
-Represented High School as Student Scholar for sports league
-Winner of Book Award for leadership</p>

<p>-essays are really good, recs are really good. no legacy or anything like that.</p>

<p>The combination of the low rank/GPA and low to mediocre SAT scores will be a tough hill to climb, that’s for sure.</p>

<p>If you can break the 700s in your SATs, that’s a good first step. What about subject test scores?</p>

<p>Usually, one can’t be too certain about an applicant’s chances here b/c we don’t see the essay and the recs. With GT, however, it all starts with your grades and SATs. If they don’t cut it, you won’t go past. Although you have nice “Other”, your SATs aren’t very strong. In fact, it might look as if your school isn’t very competitive with high gpa/rank but lower SATs. My suggestion is to retake the SATs and then apply. Hopefully you also have the 3 SAT IIs they require.</p>
