So I took the SAT for the first time yesterday, and I was just wondering if any of y'all who also took it could compare it to other SATs that you've taken. Was it harder than usual in specific sections/overall? Easier? I'm planning on taking it again in May regardless of my score, but I was just wondering if the difficulty of yesterday's test was the "norm" or not. Also, was it just me or were the critical reading sections a little more challenging than usual? They seemed more confusing than those I've done in the BB. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

Is the same test worldwide?

Critical reding was bout chess nd technology? the other about comics?

Yesterdy on the test the time ws running so fast, normally i Answer 22 question of 24… but yesterdy only nswer 16…

I want to ches if is the same test worldwide!

@chessparade - I’m pretty sure that there are several versions of the test on SAT day. Chances are you didn’t have the same test as the person sitting next to you.

^ not sure about that. Usually the questions are the same, even if the order of the sections isn’t. People might get different experimental sections as well.

There is a big difference between the US test and the international test though. For this jan 28 international test, I think it was a recycled dec 2009 US test.

I took the international test - but most of my info on test differences was from the PSAT, which just has different tests each day. (and no recycled tests for overseas) You are probably right about the order of sections just being different. Different books have said different things.
