I've already submitted my Cornell application for this year, but recently I've been having doubts about my essay. After rereading my essay (I hadn't looked at it for a while because I was confident it was great), I felt my essay was extremely choppy and didn't flow. I also feel I didn't answer the question, though I hinted at it a couple of times.
Read my essay and tell me how bad it is. I already know it's pretty bad... I hate it. I'm amazed I didn't notice how bad it was before submitting it. I guess I was just trying to fit the 500 word limit that I cut out some essential stuff in my essay that helped to further elaborate and develop my essay. Prior to editing my essay, I believe I had about 700 words.
I know there's nothing I can do now, but I would just like to know what other people think about my essay. Hopefully, it's not as bad as I think it is, but that's very unlikely.
Please, no current or future applicants.
Thanks!
