Hi, all.
I have been working on my freshman transfer application, and I would just like to hear some feedback on the extracurricular activities that I listed. My main concern is that the music ones may be too closely-related to be listed individually:
- Pianist/altar server, Sunday Mass
- Multi-instrumentalist, has provided accompaniment for brother's wedding/funerals
- Keyboardist/xylophonist, high school jazz band
- Researches music theory via YouTube
- Recorded electronic remix of John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things"
- Video editor, various uploads to YouTube, helped friend edit drum cover video
- Private Japanese lessons with father
- Dietary aide, nursing home (work)
- United Nations field program
- National Honor Society (involvement included food drives, preparing Thanksgiving food, blooddrives)
I was involved with some co-curricular activities during high school (cross-country, theater), but I feel as though I never found any strong passion in them (even though I was once awarded “Most Improved Player”). Thoughts on including/excluding those?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
