I would like some feedback from those knowledgeable about the transition from First Year Engineering to the first choice Engineering school. Has the process worked well? On paper at least, this seems straightforward. Purdue’s website states: “Historically, more than 99% of students with both GPA and EAI (Eng. Admissions Index) above 2.75 enter their first choice Engineering School.” Have there been any issues with large classes, difficulty registering for required courses and quality of academic advising. Your feedback would be most appreciated!
I’d like know, too. The impression I got when I visited was that it was no problem. That’s why they want to know what your major is- though it’s not etched in stone like GA Tech or Cal Poly. It would be nice to hear from someone who has been through it.
