Essays are important, but no where near as important as the time you’ve spent on this on. You should’ve just sent in an average essay before the Nov. 1st deadline.

^ Yeah. From what I’ve heard, bad essays + ER is better than good essays + RD

gino- a specific part of the trip, and that may be a meaningful conversation with someone.

“In fact, I feel like crying while typing this right now.” I don’t think you need this sentence either…

Is “bad essays + ER” as bad even if I turn it in today or tomorrow? The reason I’m so obsessed with my essays is b/c I’m OOS (Indiana) and I have a 2030 SAT, which I think might be borderline.

Teahous, I’ve already deleted that sentence. Thanks for your feedback.

I wrote my essay for academic interest, which somehow I don’t sense to be as important as the others; so I won’t spend forever on that. I just have the 500 word one left, and I already know what I’m going to write about. I’ll def. have everything submitted by tomorrow, if not today. Actually, I couldn’t have made the ER deadline b/c UM won’t receive my October SAT scores until late November when my subject tests scores come in b/c I’m sending them together. From what I understood from the UM website, they don’t begin reviewing an app. until everything is received.

I’ve finished editing my diversity essay, and I think any more revision will just kill it; so I’m completely done with that one. Thanks for your help everyone!
(Any chance someone could glance over my essay about academic interest?)

Disregard the end of that last post. I’ve already submitted my application. Thanks to everybody for your help!!!
