<p>hi i'm a current junior. i have a 3.39 weighted gpa as of now (hoping second semester will boost it up to 3.5/3.6) i just took the sat for the first time (1650) and plan to take it two more times, and i have a 27 act composite score. I am committed to track and field, won the mvp award for the frosh/soph team as a sprinter both my freshman and sophomore year, run 11.56 in the 100 and members of the relay teams. I have over 40 hours of volunteer work, but continue to do more. My dream school is to attend UC Irvine , Santa Barbra, or Davis (also considering Santa Clara University), but i was wondering what are my chances to get into UC's.</p>

<p>You really need to work on the GPA and SAT/ACT. Also more EC’s!</p>
<p>I’m borderline with UCI with a 3.67 WGPA, 32 ACT, 1500+ hours of EC’s and CS’s.
That would probably go for the same with Davis, but I didn’t apply there.</p>
<p>Santa Clara looks like a good match for you though. Try working on your SAT though for sure. Go for 1800~2000+ and you’ll get in.</p>
