feel like i want to do it again

i know this sounds crazy

Ok so I have a deposit down at Wisconsin-Madison, and I'm on the waitlist at WashU in St. Louis and Colgate. But I feel crappy because if I did it again, I would apply to entirely different schools (except WashU.) I feel discouraged by the size of the UW, even though it didn't seem to bother me too much before. I'm really just want to do this all over again, but of course I'd rather not take a whole year off. Should I give UW a shot, and if I don't like it I can transfer?

Definitely give UW a shot. You might end up loving it. If not, transferring's always an option. But just make sure to keep an open mind when going.

UW-Madison is a good school! Give it a year and you will probably be very happy there. If not, apply to transfer to another school. You are right in not taking a year off - those gap years do not usually work out all that well.
Good Luck!
