<p>Now, this is just from my experience with <em>my</em> undergrad institution, which wasn't Purdue, but sometimes the big ol' English lit classes that people were required to take were completely full, so the registrar would first book the people who didn't already have a full load. People who had a lot of classes to take would typically get placed into those classes second semester. Not sure if it's the same at Purdue, but it wouldn't hurt to ask what's up with that, just to make sure that you take it eventually.</p>
