When I say “viewed negatively” I certainly don’t mean that anyone is precluded from these positions solely because of Rx drug usage. It’s just that they have ULTRA strict medical standards and I know of people who were disqualified for routine medical conditions. The applicant with the spotless medical record has an unequivocal advantage over the applicant who’s on a Rx (regardless of how innocuous). It’s a well known de facto standard.</p>
