Fellow Rejects: What now?

What are you all planning to do now? I know some have already decided on another school. Is anyone still set on USC? Who plans on going to another school and then transferring? Community college, anyone? I wanna hear from you guys!

Well for me its between ut austin and boston university. right now im leaning towards boston university because they offered me really good financial aid, but i dont know yet. UT seems like it would be a lot of fun

i'm going to appeal, and if that doesn't work i'm going to Chapman and then i'll transfer for sophomore year, that way if i don't get in again lol, at least i'll still be at a great film school

I've already sent in my appeal, although I'll probably just go to LMU and then transfer out to USC after a couple of semesters.

I'm going to Syracuse. I'm happy about it; it's journalism program is actually a lot better than SC's. It's just a bummer that I couldn't stay in California.

No appeals. UCSD, here I come! See you guys around!

CSULB for one year and then USC...

Oops I should say... CSULB Film school and then USC sophomore year...

I'm going to hand deliver my appeal.

Then, wait to see if that works.

If it doesn't, UCSB or UCSD.

THEN, I'll try to transfer for sophomore year.

If that doesnt work, then another year at UCSB or UCSD.

THEN, I'll try to transfer for junior year.

If that doesn't work...phew, I don't even know!

i sent in my appeal this morning via express mail...should arrive tomorrow afternoon..you guys wish me luck :) if

PM me if you want to give your opinion on my letter

not gettin my hopes up i know its a 5% chance..its funny how if someone tells you there's a 5% chance you'll die if you leave the house on a certain day you're like whatever thats a 95% chance i'll be FINE, but when its a 5% chance you'll get exactly what you reallly want, you will cling to that 1 in 20 chance with all you got left

if it doesnt workout, i'll prob go to ASU or UT via UTSA

pmcharkins theres always grad schooL!!

lol i even mentioned that in my letter that i was determined to be a trojan, whether it was thru appeal, transfer, graduate school, or law school lol

pmcharkins, i am in your position...plan to attend ucsd then transfer to usc after a year...i hope i get in!!! good luck!!! by the way..what should we do from now to that application period to better our chances thanks!

pray to God

I'm not totally sure, i'm going to make sure to do some community service over the summer, I'm shooting for like 200 hours or so, then just make sure we are taking couses they recommend and study our butts off at UCSD

by the way does taking any ap classes help with getting more credits at sd? thanks =]

My daughter applied to Annenberg--lots of points in her favor, but not enough...
She'll be going to CSUN, and trying as a transfer student. Which means a very rigorous freshman year at CSUN...no picking a 'C' class each semester to chill with. She just got an e-mail from CSUN about an honors program they have. Does anyone know anything about that??

She is determined to get the degree from USC. Getting into Annenberg is tough, but broadcast journalism is it for her.
