Hi , guys . I'm 22 years old student from Egypt .I want to study theoretical physics .I have been studying theoretical physics on my own for some time .Now , I think I'm ready for the GRE test . I have no bachelor's in physics or a related field . Although I hold a degree in medicine . Now I'm looking for fellowships in physics with financial aids in a college in US . I'm not a US residence . I want to travel to US for study .I'm asking for for programs that accept international students with strong background and intellectual ability . Also , provided that I pass the GRE test successfully , Can I get accepted at a graduate program without holding an undergraduate degree?

Sorry I meant scholarships*

It is extremely unlikely you will find any graduate program in the US that is willing to both accept you and fund you. Your lack of formal training and research experience will most likely derail your chances at PhD programs. You might find a master’s program which will take a wild chance on you, but those probably will not fund you.

A GRE score is not terribly important in the overall scheme of thing when it comes to getting accepted into grad school. (A low score will keep you out, but a high score cannot get you accepted.) Research experience, publications, and recommendation from physics faculty/practicing physicists are more important than your GRE.

Thanks for response . But what about undergraduate scholarships ?

You might try asking in the International Students’ forum
