<p>What are my chance of getting into carnegie mellon, stanford, and caltech?
I have a high gpa number 3 in my class also hispanic, not to mention female duhh, and i've done my community time. i was captain of the soccer team and play an instrument at my church, and my sat scores are high. AP classes all the way?</p>
<p>Even with perfect stats those schools are tough admits. But I think that URM/hispanic may help. Good luck!</p>

<p>Stanford has little gender preference for engineering, but URM may help. In any case, those are very competitive schools that they are not short of highly qualified female applicants anyway. You probably have a slightly higher chance than the single digit acceptance rate for some of them.</p>
