Female physics major?

<p>Do females seriously have a significant advantage over males (admissions-wise) if they choose their undergrad major to be in the fields on engineering, physics, math, or compsci?</p>

<p>ie- say a guy and a girl have the same ECs, gpa, test scores, etc. would the girl be more likely to be accepted into a major of one of those fields?</p>

<p>The stat is usually based on college intead of specific major. Female student in science is not as favorable as in engineering.</p>
