Fencing Scholarships for International Student

Hi,

I am a new member in this forum so please accept my apoligies if this was posted earlier.
My brother in law is 17 yo , who is currently studying high school in Ankara-Turkey with good grades.
He is also a sabre fencer for approximately 10 years who is currently representing Turkey’s national fencing team in sabre.
He was third in International Meditterenean Fencing Games recently and has many other medals and achivements in fencing.

We were wondering if it is possible for him to get a scholarship in any of the major universities in US ?
He is planning to study engineering, not any sport major.

Fencing will probably be helpful for getting into college, but many of the schools that host teams do not give athletic scholarships. He will need to find a school with engineering, fencing, and then be admitted with either a merit scholarship for his grades or a need based scholarship.
