Feuds on CC

"Kebree, i dont think you're mean, i would just like to be enlightened..."

since Kebree is busy packing for her euro trip tomorrow and isn't here to defend herself, i'll do my best to speak on her behalf

I think what Kebree meant when she said she agreed with Northstarmom was that she agreed with the root of Northstarmom's anger- the girl in question should have been more worried about education rather than being the "prettiest girl in school."

But regardless of whether or not Northstarmom was right or wrong in her assumptions about the girl in question, she was way outta line with how she handled the situation. (that's just my two cents...neither the views nor statements posted by myself necessarily reflect those of Kebree or anyone else affiliated with Kebree and Associates...copywrite 2005, All Rights Reserved (c) )

I actually got a Terms of Service violation warning for using it =)

using what?

Thanks, slic.

How ironic it is that the "CC Feuds" thread is looking like it could turn into a CC feud. =)

northstarmom is ****ed that bcwannabe wonders about such things, i.e. has a life on the side, rather than focusing 100% on academia. then she decides to make this teenager cry.

[/quote]

I don't think NSM minded the "not focusing 100% on academia" or "having a life on the side"....it was just that the girl was deeply concerned/offended/hurt when someone jokingly told her that she would have "more competition" at Harvard than Brown. I thought the original post was pretty funny (she probably didn't mean for it to sound as ridiculous as it did). I would never have said she had no shot at Harvard, but her post did get me laughing.....

ohh, ok. I see that angle now.

As for your prophecy, Kebree, I was actually hoping a feud would spawn from this thread. But I wouldn't waste my time arguing with you LOSERS anyway.

LOSERS.

nice try.

I've got better things to do, too. =)

Meh, that nsm thing wasn't even that big of a deal (although maybe I missed the real insults, since they were deleted by the mod)

What ever happened to calculusboy vs. practically half the Pton board? Most of this stuff, including northstarmom's prediction, were just single posts, but that was a real feud. I think it almost ended in a duel over Kebree's honor, but everyone sobered up or something.

Calculusboy got rejected by princeton...he also self-destructed before then. shrug

***. That sounds so cool!
Someone send a link; 5 Shillings for the first to do so.

haha, that is the funniest thread

i have read many of northstarmom's posts and she provides a lot of valuable information/advice...but most of the time she seems negative and rude and curt. but i guess everyone gets use to it =D

I <3 this thread. :p

You guys don't understand, a duel on Kebree's honor, that stuff is movie-adaptable! I want a link!

C^3: THE CHRONICLES OF COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL
with
Kebree, the damsel in distress...
Calculusboy, the instigator, tortured soul, striving for greatness, lost to the evils of fortune...
Northstarmom, wise yet belligerent sage; her wisdom is shared only with concomitant thorns.
Schwaby and Hobbes, the jovial cavalry...
zantedeschia, the ubiqiutous (26.01 posts per day) (!)

and darmani, the hero! (ok, i'm pushing it now)

(I really dont know any of these people well enough to make these depictions. They're probably all grossly innacurate... oh well)

Everything I say is getting bleeped! This is ****ing ridiculous.

Zante-- you actually got a little... um... shall we say unsavory on the Princeton board once upon a time. You kinda wanted to exact your revenge on the (over)abundance of legacies who were admitted.

Not to bring up bad memories or anything! Please don't get mad! :o This is all in good fun. :)

got called for hahvahd interview today...freaked out when i thought that nsm might be my interviewer until i realized that we were like 10 states away! her list of what ticked her off in an interviewee was scary.

Sorry, but that thread was bad enough to merit a deletion. The mods fortunately agreed. (Thanks, mods.)

Actually, darmani, you're not too far off. CalcBoy had the crazy idea of wooing Kebree with his math skills, and slicmlic2001 stepped in to defend her honor. The original thread on this was deleted by the mods, but this short make-up thread is still up.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=14427

Shh calidan, we shan't go back to those unsavory times mmk? Anyway, that only lasted for like a week. I've been pretty nice the rest of the time. So that's what, like 10, 15 posts of meanness out of 4000+? :) gimme a break

i dont see why u consider those days "unsavory" times...ive officially gone down in CC history books....im the stuff legends are made out of....30 years down the line, when my kiddies are fretting over college and miraculously discover CC, they'll be hearing stories bout the handsome knight who boldly risked his life to defend the honor of his fair lady...hahahhaa

so YOU were the goody-two-shoes who tattled on us and got the thread taken away!!! argghhh

well, i can understand the reasoning behind your actions...u didnt wanna see calcboy (no matter how much he deserved it) get hurt...its ok 'bree, 'bree- its all to the good :p
