Hi, I’m a new grad student to UCI w/ CS major and have few questions regarding campuses.
- I've been reading campuses reviews on yelp and most of them are negative. People reported that they were moving in to an apartment and found cockroaches, mold etc. Is it really that bad living on campus, or are most of those reviews exaggerated? I'm asking mostly with regards to ACC campuses.
- Regardless of proximity to UCI, which one of the three: Puerta del Sol, Vista de Campo, Vista de Campo Norte is deemed as the most attractive by students? For instance, I noticed that all the studios are sold out in Vista del Campo, but all of them are still available in Puerta del Sol, which is closest to the UCI. Is there a clear reason for that or just coincidence?
- When it comes to UCI campuses: Palo Verde, Verano Place and Campus Village. Is it likely to get 1-bedroom apt for oneself in case of PV or VP? Also, is it some kind of inconvenience that those places are unfurnished in contrast to ACC condos? I mean, they don't even have a bed?
