Few questions on college life!

Righttt I have a few questions (Im international)

First off, about halls - what is normally the policy on visitors/people staying with you.. I know that most halls are doubles, how possible is it to get a single?

How does the religion of a college matter? Will they force you to take religious classes or anything?

it’s very rare as a freshman to get a single.

it depends on what school we are talking about. Some schools will make you take religious classes and attend chapel such as Pepperdine while at Duke (methodist affiliated - SHOCK) religion doesn’t matter as far as I know.

your questions about halls is best answered by visiting your school’s website as every school’s policy is different.

And the religion things depends to. If its a jesuit college then yes, you have to take religious classes, but in any religion. But again, pay a visit to your school’s site and look over the course catalogue/degree requirements.

Alright, I have looked it up - One school is Evangelical Lutheran - I am not sure though - [College of the Lutheran Church | Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa USA](http://www.wartburg.edu/lutheran/) on the example timetable schedule thing it has a slot pre put in for Chapel.
Another one - [Catholic coeducational career-focused liberal arts college | Notre Dame College](http://www.notredamecollege.edu/) I looked on their website but cant find info.
It seems though that ndc allows people staying as long as they are the same sex… same with them both.

Why do you pick out religious colleges if you don’t want to take religious classes?

Because I want to be able to play tennis, and I have been in contact with the tennis coaches at those colleges
