<p>This stupid dropdown menu thing on the common app for activities (among other things) is causing me some confusion;
What category should NHS go under if I'm listing it as an activity? I feel like the community service category is just the section to list all of your volunteer hours and not a category to place a community service group such as NHS, but I'm not sure.
What about Spanish Honor Society? Should that be listed as foreign language? I'm not sure if that category is referring to time spent learning a foreign language outside of school or any involvement in an organization pertaining to a foreign language.
If I'm trying to explain the insane amount of hours I put down for football, should that go in the details box at the bottom of the activity page or in the "additional information" section in the writing section? I don't want them to think I put a crazy amount of hours just to look better. I want to explain that they come from the summer team conditioning workouts, after school route work with the QBs, 7 on 7, and spring practices.
I know I sound like a lunatic who needs to get a life but I just figure that it's worth spending the time to try to make this thing perfect if it can help me for the next 4 years of my life. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide some isnsight.</p>
