Hi friendly CC-ers:)

I have a few questions regarding Haas Business School.

I understand that we only get to choose to enter HBS in our sophomore years, so what do we pick when applying to enter UC Berkeley? Undecided or just some random Major like African Studies?

Will the major that we pick affect our chances of entering Berkeley itself? Surely some majors are way less competitive than others.

You can put anything you want; it doesn’t matter. When you apply to the College of Letters and Sciences, you’re undeclared until… you declare after completing the prerequisites. You are admitted as a student without a major even if you put down a MCB, IB, or whatever.

Your “intended” major can only affect your admission if you apply to a college outside of L&S such as CoE, CoC, or CNR/

that explains it perfectly:) thanks!
