<p>why wouldn't you rather just have a bunch of friends? you don't have to actually acknowledge them.</p>
<p>I don't think that they would know, then again, I've never rejected anyone. And I don't think that I have been rejected. But since I don't know...they probably don't say.</p>

<p>I'm more likely to reject people who go to my school becuase I can see their profiles anyway without being their "friend". If they don't go to my school I keep them around for looking at their profile purposes.</p>
<p>You won't find out if someone has rejected you, but you can find out yourself. Someone did reject me, and I found out because when I tried to add her again, there was no "friend request pending" message. Instead, it just asked me whether I'd like to add her as a friend. I knew that I had already attempted on adding her a few months ago, so she must've denied my request. Oh well.</p>
