Hi there,
I had a question about the FIG's. Is it too late to sign up for one, and can I join one even though I'm a TIP scholar?

Thanks!

You can’t join a FIG if you’re a TIP Scholar since the TIP program is like a FIG.

For other people that aren’t in TIP and the CNS you will have the opportunity to apply to a FIG during your orientation.

Chemistry345 I recommend joining the FRI program since you can be in FRI and TIPS.

Thank you for answering my question, Robert18. Are you sure I can join the FRI program? If I got accepted into the program I would have to take UGS 303 Research Methods, but as a TIP scholar I have to take UGS 303 Thinking about Thinking in the Disciplines.

Yeah you can join FRI because I’m in FRI and a TIPS Scholar.

I’m in a UGS class that is in the same situation as me both FRI and TIPS. my UGS class is UGS 303 thinking about thinking in the disciplines, unique#- 65320
it’s a UGS class that is research based that allows me to be in a lab and both programs of TIPS and FRI as well as continue the FRI program in my freshman year spring.
