Applying to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, UPenn, Columbia, U of Chicago, Brown, Johns Hopkins.

You are in the usual middle 50% range for those colleges and URM status helps. So what does that mean? At Harvard, Yale, Princeton, you probably have a 10% chance of admission, at Penn a 15% chance and Columbia and Brown a 20% chance and probably closer to 30% or higher for Chicago or Hopkins. And those percentages are somewhat higher than your usual applicant.

scores aren’t great but the URM definitely helps. pretty much agree with drusba - although i hope you have a safety!
