Fighting Off of Brown's Wait List (& Into Acceptance)

After tomorrow, I will no longer be a student within the community college system. In the fall, I will be attending Howard University in D.C…unless I am offered a place at Brown University.

Brown would be an incredible opportunity. You could call it my dream school.

In the meantime, what should I do to increase my chances of getting off of the wait list?

I emailed Brown immediately to indicated my continued interest. I’m now considering sending a formal letter with an update of a couple of my accomplishments.

But I want to do more.

I recently won a professor’s union scholarship. I’m considering asking the board to send Brown a letter of recommendation on my behalf. As well as a letter from a representative of the neighborhood organization that I volunteer with.

What should I talk about in my letter? Well, specifically, should I mention the other schools I’ve been accepted into along with my other accomplishment updates?

Any other general advice is welcome

@Cumberland, I just sent you a PM. I have an idea for you.
