^^ That’s Ohio!!!
In North Dakota, it’s winter and July 4th.
Colorado is winter and mud season
Southern CA used to be flood (not anymore ), fog, fire, and Fiesta!
Ohio has three seasons…winter, July and August.
Maine is winter, mud season, and July 4th.
Lol, these posts are making me think my D is making a good choice. I remember back in school, a former classmate calling me from Minnesota to tell me it was snowing in October
We did the Northwestern tour in February. 48 degrees. Prospective students from Texas were miserable. Current students were walking around in shorts. .
Having been living in Texas for too long, we think it is too “cold” in the bay area in California!
“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.”
In So Cal, we put on jackets when the temperature dips below 70 F.
Now, now, that’s the Texan in you speaking!
Maine has a wonderful, crisp autumn that lasts for at least 2 months with beautiful color; a delightfully snowy winter that lasts a month too long unless you are a skiing fanatic; Mud Season, during which we clench our teeth and try to be happy that at least the snow is melting and not envious that other people are planting things and having Spring; a gorgeous but abbreviated actual Spring where everything bursts into flower in about 3 weeks; and at least 2 months of glorious summer.
