How they will affect your future life?Getting into college?Getting a job? What are the consequences?

Depending on the severity, it might lower your chances of getting into a top institution. It certainly won’t affect your career, though summer and part-time jobs may be difficult to find if you’ve got substandard disciplinary records. Worst case scenario, you kill several people.

If you’re 18 or over and you get charged with a felony, then your career options probably become a lot more limited

Well if you are 17 and the worst case in black eye or broken nose…maybe concussion AND THATS LIKE THE WORST CASE EVER.And if you are not going into top institution and you going to suny or cuny will that really affect you? What about police record will you have one?

I know i didnt…yet. But you never know what can happen and im curious what are the consequences

Well, you can get suspended or even expelled. How would you like to get suspended or expelled? Do you know how bad that will look when applying to colleges? Fights are ONLY okay if you are doing self defense, meaning the other man is attacking you first. Other than that, don’t even attempt anything.

Yeah, at our school, people are “asked” to cease attendance if they get into a big enough fight (as in if people go to the hospital or security is called in).

Two years ago, this junior chick got into a massve fight. She was cussing like a sailorette and completely ripped up another girl’s face.

She went to the University of Washington.

So therefore, I don’t think they effect college-acceptance that much.

I would rather not recommend getting yourself into any physical fight that can cause internal injury. Your internal organs, your face, and your brain are at risk. Do you want something to happen that will remain for the rest of your life if doctors are not able to cure it?

And does shampooswallower=vain b*itch? considering you accuse me instantly of being someone I am not and also looking at your “location” headline.

^ Calm down. You sound like some over defensive freshman. Definitely not the impression you want to be making with your first posts.

Nope, I’m a junior. Lol. And I’m not overdefensive. I’m just plainly listing the facts.

holla, I’ve been really nice to you.

And I don’t think I’m a ***** at all, atleast I don’t try to be…

Ok, well i apologize for calling you one. Its not that I find being called Pie or Cake offensive, since they both seem like very nice gents/gentees (is that correct for women?), but I found being called it numerous times somewhat annoying.

Fight in fights thread lol.Well anyway ty I guess i did forget to mention that I was talking about self-defense.But anyway ty for advice.
By the way i jsut talked to my friend. He goes to The Citadel now(one of top ranked army colleges) in south carolina.
He got expelled from his school a month before finishing it got in like 4-5 fights and i think some stupid stuff like fireworks on the street. So I guess you really never know its different for everybody

I think colleges like it when you win fights. I could be wrong.

-_- Don’t fight or you’ll get swine flu.
