How do you figure out your GPA?
Do you take ALL grades for each class (meaning for each term) or the averages for those classes?
ex: My final averages for all my classes goes as follows: English: A, Geometry: A-, Global Studies 9:A-, Earth Science: A, French: A-, Gym: A, Health: A+
But I have gotten 4 B+'s and 1 B.

Ask your school or GC how they handle it. Each school is different.

My school does it by semester, because some classes are just a semester long and there's also the issue of what if a student gets a B+ one semester and an A- the next semester in the same class. Your school may do it differently though, so ask your school or GC, or see if any of your friends/classmates know (you'd probably be able to contact them more easily over the summer).

so... for those of you who have seen your transcripts.... how many decimal places ... does your school round the decimals to two places or ????

n.nnn
or
n.nn
or
?

I am not quite sure.
I'm pretty sure it's n.nn though

E-mail the colleges you are interested in and ask how they figure GPA for admissions purposes. You will most likely get a different answer from each school.

our school rounds to three decimal places
ie 3.999

Our school rounds to four.
