Hi.

So i am freaking out because I read the IDOC filing date wrong. For some reason I thought it was March 5th instead of March 1st. Will this affect my chances at receiving financial aid? And more importantly will it affect my chances of being accepted into the school? I am completely freaking out right now. Pleas let me know! Thanks!

Call the finaid office, that is the only answer that COULD be authoritative.

Being late will NOT affect your admissions in any way. It is possible that you might miss out on some grant money due to late filing (distribution of grant money generally benefits those who filed on time, but it doesn't necessarily mean late filers won't get any grant money). You will not be denied federal money, such as Pell or Stafford/Perkins loans. My advice is to send the IDOC info ASAP, Priority Mail.

YEAH i definitly sent it over night mail....thanks a lot!
