Filing taxes, scholarship?

I'm currently filing my taxes as I worked a part-time job during 2013.

I am attending college in 2014-2015 and I have received scholarships from the colleges that I have applied at but I have not accepted any of them.

Do I have to put down scholarships on my 1040ez? I'm assuming no since this is for 2013 and scholarship will be next year. Correct?

Also, if anyone knows-

"If someone can claim you (or your spouse if a joint return) as a dependent, check
the applicable box(es) below and enter the amount from the worksheet on back."

My parents can claim me, correct?

Only scholarships/grants that exceed the cost of tuition, fees and required books and supplies are taxable income to the student. Note that room and board amounts aren’t qualified education expenses(QEE) for this purpose. If you are a HS senior now, yes, you don’t have to worry about that until next spring when you file 2014 taxes.

The details are in IRS Pub 970, chapter 1:

Your parents most likely can claim you. They need to check the qualifying child requirements in IRS Pub 501, page 13:
