<p>I want to sign up for Stats 21 for spring 07 but the class and the waitlist are full and I really dont want to take it with Purves in Fall 07 (though im not sure hes the one that will be teaching it). </p>

<p>You could try pleading your case to the instructor of the class, telling him why you want, or need to take it now, and he could give you a course entry code to get in. However, unless you have a serious reason you probably won't get it, they don't hand them out just because you want to take it now and you don't want another prof.</p>
