Filling in College App's

<p>We all know that there are several ways we can file an application whether it be the common app, or the school-specific app. The common app can be filed online, or sent by surface mail as is the case with the school specific app. Its somewhat confusing eh?</p>

<p>My question is: do colleges care if you type your application or write it in? Does it matter if you use a typewriter? Is it advisable, since some people might think that you got your parents "secretary" or someone else to do it? Im really not sure what to do.</p>

<p>Well a lot of the apps say "print or type" so I'm assuming it's ok. Unless you have a nice new typewriter, you run the risk of making mistakes, and you don't want that. Check out the post just below yours about typing PDFs. Works wonders for me.</p>
