<p>After I fill out the section that shows which colleges my parents attended, I get a message that says, "Since you provided a response to 'Parent 1 Type', please provide a response to the 'Parent 1 Degree' question."</p>
<p>The thing is, my parents attended college in China (though my dad attended grad school at NYU). So what can I do? The CEEB codes don't cover any colleges in the mainland.</p>
<p>pick the option and the bottom "Not Found"..then type in the college name urself</p>
<p>What about if our parents didn't go to college because in such country college is not needed and you went directly to, in my parent's case, medical school?</p>
<p>That's basically what my mother did- though whenever she states her degrees, she just puts B.S., M.D., XXXX University XXXX Year, Ph.D. XXXX University XXXX Year. So when it asks what degree my mother earned, I just put B.S., M.D. :)</p>
