<p>I'm thinking about switching to a film/media studies major, but I don't know what I'm getting myself into yet. I'm an incoming freshman and I chose business economics, but after looking at the catologue, I rather do business admin or film/media. </p>
<p>Does anyone know how hard the major is? And about how much reading there is for this major?

<p>Hard for somebody else might not be hard for you. I confess I know little about business economics, but out of curiosity, how did you get from that to film? They seem like pretty unrelated fields. If you want to go into production, there may be less reading, but there will be writing. For any major like cultural studies, film theory, etc. there will be a good amount of both reading and writing.</p>
