Does anyone know how many freshman are admitted to the SCA Film and Television Production? My son is greatly hoping for an admittance. Also if he is not admitted into the SCA and he is admitted as an undecided student; can he still take film and television production classes? Also I am extremely worried about the cost since my household income is under 50K/yearly. This will be my second child in college at the same time. My state only has one very expensive university that offers film and they just started their film program studies and you only study film literature.
Would you be able to respond to my post please @CADREAMIN

Replied in several other threads that you have posted to.
I believe that only 100-120 or so are admitted to the SCA Film and Television Production program. The admit rate is in between 3 and 4% these days for that specific major. If admitted to USC as Undeclared, he can take some film and television production classes but not all… and he can Minor. Cinematic Arts offers a variety of minors. He can also try to internally transfer into SCA. But if he does so for film and television production, he cannot do so until the start of his sophomore year, and then he will be pursuing a BA vs the BFA. USC is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial aid. It was sufficient to allow both of my daughters to attend… including one overlap year.
Good luck…
@WWWard I really do appreciate your in-depth knowledge and prompt responses.
