Film at Yale

Hi I am a HS junior who is interested in studying film (production, history, theory). I have heard that Yale offers a very good film studies major that blends theory with production (as opposed to Columbia and NYU). Can any students comment on this?

How does Yale fare compared to other very prestigious film schools such as USC and NYU? Does it offer strong alumni/industry connections?

Heya! While I'm not currently at Yale and seriously dunno how to answer that question, I just wanted to say that I too would really like the answer. Also, are you able to do this if you want to have a double major? W/film I'm much more into acting than other bits though...

Look at this article I found. Not sure if it refers to undergrad or grad...

Thanks! :) Yale offers more general knowledge I guess and the others like NYU offer more specifics from what I gather from that article...
