<p>One of my good guy friends at MIT went on to a master’s program in screenwriting at USC and is now working in Hollywood. :)</p>

<p>Mechanical engineering, actually, with a good GPA and research experience. But he took a bunch of the theatre 21M classes, including the one(s?) on screenwriting, and he wrote a few full screenplays before graduating. He could have become an engineer, and he had a job lined up before he found out he was accepted at USC, but writing was always his dream.</p>
<p>There’s also a lot of clubs that are centered around theater and film. Here’s the link to the clubs at MIT that focus on the arts.</p>

<p>While you can find plenty of non-CMS majors with such interests, a CMS major would probably be the right sort to ask.</p>
