Film: DePaul vs. Carleton

Hi there!
I am looking to major in some sort of cinema/digital media program, but I'm also interested in computer science, so I am not looking for purely an arts college.
Right now, I am trying to decide between Carleton and DePaul. DePaul has fantastic programs for both, and Carleton has fantastic programs for its size.
I'm not looking for comparisons between the schools in general, just the film programs. Can anyone from either side tell me more about what it's like?

Thanks!!

I went to Depaul for my masters in computer science, and they have a wonderful program that is very practical and up to date. I know they have a well known theater program, but I don’t know a lot about their film program.

Thanks for the reply.
Out of curiosity, did you do any hardware stuff, or all just software?
I’m a little disappointed they don’t offer computer engineering as well.

I currently go to Carleton. I can’t say much about the CAMS (Cinema Arts & Media Studies) major because I don’t know much about it, but you can check out the website [Carleton College: Cinema & Media Studies](http://apps.carleton.edu/curricular/cams/) if you like. Within the last some years, Carleton got a new building (Weitz Center for Creativity) and it’s dedicated mostly to the arts. It might be worth contacting the Chair and asking for more information about CAMS – I hear a lot of students enjoy the program and classes offered.

Carleton is unusually science-heavy for a liberal arts college and computer science (CS) is the second biggest major.
