Film School: CSUN vs SDSU vs SFSU vs Ithaca?? HELP.

I have been accepted into the film programs at California State University: Northridge, San Diego State University, San Francisco State University, and Ithaca College I am having a hard time deciding which school I should go to. I’m from New Jersey however money is not really an issued for me because I will apply to alot of scholarships. Any advice as to which school I should go to? I love editing, directing, and even acting. Which school have a lot of connection, internships, and the best dorm life/ “parties”? Thanks! And I’m will become a undergraduate freshmen fall 2015!

tiffycole70, have you gone out to CA to visit the schools on your list? I know that CSUN’s film school was mentioned as an up and coming school in the best film schools in the world in the Hollywood Reporter. Another thing about CSUN is they have a strong acting program and are really clost to Hollywood. So internships and work connections are easy to find. I really liked the look of the school when my son and I visited. It still had a LA sunny California vibe but a state school feel. The cost for out of state at CSUN would run you about what a NJ public college would cost so it makes it a really goof option financially.

nope, but I will in the summer! And thank you  Is your son out of state too shancherry?

Hey tiffycole70! I was accepted at CSUN’s and UNCSA’s film programs and I am still waiting for an answer from SFSU. I am really pending torwards CSUN. Have you visited any of them or made your decision yet?

Are they still accepting transfers for Cinema and Television Arts?
