I live on the East Coast, but I will go anywhere for the best film education I can get. What do you think?

Well, you seem very into film so I'm surprised you haven't researched film schools on your own. I'm sure you know that USC and NYU are the bestso obviously, apply there. It's hard to say if you'll get in just because so many people apply but you definetly have a great shot. What type of film are you interested in? Directing, Screenwriting, Producing, etc? There are other film programs at different universities that offer more specific parts of film so you might want to look at those.

I am interested most in directing. I have looked into USC, NYU, Emerson, Chapman and some others. I was just ooking for perhaps some easier to get into film schools to fall back on, perhaps a bit closer to home. (Maryland)

I don't know that much about film schools but I believe the one at Florida State is well-regarded. I also have heard that it is one of the few places that pays for the student's film equipment.
