<p>How about San Diego State, Long Beach, Fullerton, USC?</p>

<p>USC is a private college. Also check out Chapman, another private.</p>
<p>Yeah for privates, definitely look into bluebayou's suggestions - SC + Chapman. if you want to go somewhere not in CA though, I suggest NYU or American Film Institute.</p>
<p>USC is the way to go if you're willing to go private. Didn't George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) go there?</p>
