Hello All.

I'm a junior undergraduate studying Cinema at San Francisco State University. I am interested in doing graduate work in film at a top school like USC, UCLA, Columbia etc. but have heard that most people who get into the grad. programs for schools like these have undergraduate degrees in something other than film. The idea being, i suppose, that they want their grad student to know about more than just movies. Understandable. Am I shooting myself in the foot by studying Cinema as an undergrad? Do all grad programs have this view?

It's worth noting that I am currently getting all A's, involved in the debate team, doing some work for the UN, and also adding a philosophy minor. Does that help me at all?
