Fin Aid- Am I suppose to send something?

<p>Hey,
I'm an OOS student and I was just wondering what documents am I suppose to send to U-M regarding financial aid? They never requested FAFSA or CSS or anything from me.
They must need something right? All I remember filling out regarding financial aid was a section on the U-M online application. I hope they don't base their fin aid decision just on that. Then again I need to get accepted first.</p>

<p>Well, since financial aid is not something you have to do, they don't "request" that you submit something. If you are interested in financial aid, you need to submit both the FAFSA and the CSS profile. And you really should be doing this before you get accepted just to get the ball rolling.</p>

<p>yes, definitely fill out the fafsa and css profile ASAP. need-based financial aid is first come, first served.</p>
