Fin aid at Wesleyan

<p>Hello I also posted this in Finanical Aid -- am wondering about others' experience with financial aid at Wesleyan.</p>

<p>S has a list of 15 schools right now, mostly with need-based aid but including a couple which might offer really good merit-based aid.</p>

<p>We are looking at small LACs and at larger schools with honors programs or residential colleges. S hopes to study both Studio Art and Math and eventually do graduate work, probably a PhD (but not sure yet in what). Wes is strong in both Math and Studio Art. We visited and liked the campus. His stats make it a match for admissions</p>

<p>My observation is that of the net price calc estimates for need-based schools, Wes came out higher than all others for our EFC, in addition to including maximum loans. Is this true to other families' experience? How did Wes compare to other packages?</p>
