Fin Aid for EA Acceptees

Have any EA acceptees heard about their financial aid, or, if not, when we are supposed to find out? I was under the impression that I should have gotten it by now......

I got it a long time ago. You should definetly call them up if you still don't have it.

i havent gotten it but i called them and they said they mailed it this week so i shold be getting it soon. they said they still hadnt processed all of the early acceptees fin aid apps.

I got mine like a week after I got my acceptance. Not good. I will be in debt!

I was so excited, and then I got $0...

I haven't gotten mine yet, but that was because I had no idea you were supposed to send in your parent's 2003 tax stuff AND pay MONEY to the college board to send some fin-aid profile (basically the FAFSA, which my mom was angry about, since she wanted to wait to fill that out but pretty much had to do it now on the college board form). They told us the deadline was January 14th, so I dunno if we got it in on time (we sent in the college baord thing online on Jan. 13th.... anybody know if that'll get to UofC by the next day?). But, yeah, they were pretty lame about notifying us that we were missing stuff for early fin-aid info... I got ONE e-mail and that was it.

WHATever. I'm hoping for dollas dollas but I doubt I'll get any.

JLP- The profile thing takes a week to get there, but I think since you filed it before the day, they'll be lax. They're very busy right now. As for Jan 14th itself, that's for the early estimate (so for all of you that got $0, you might still have hope). Once you file your 2004 tax returns and send it to them, they'll give you the final aid decision when the RDs get sent out.
