Fin Aid for Int. student

I heard that financial aid for international student of Cornell is very very limited ( maybe the least of Ivies ). Is it true?
A friend of my friend was accepted to engineering school, class of 2010 but recieve no fin aid at all.
It makes me quite worried.

I don’t know if it’s the least of all Ivies, but it’s certainly very limited.
Now, depending on your personal circumstances - you might have more or less chance to get some. (Family income, how much Cornell wants you…)
Are you also applying to the Engineering? If yes, are you a girl? Because I know Cornell wants to attract more girls into the Engineering, and I guess this might help you…

fin aid. for international students are extremely limited. You are in a different applpication pool if you are an international and you do apply for fin.aid. (unless you are Canadian or Mexican citizen).

I’m not Canadian or Mexican citizen =.=
Yup I’m a girl and i’m apply to AEM.
I remember they wrote sth on the ws like ’ the admission decisions are not effected by financial situation’ blah blah
Neway, Cornell is worth trying :x

From [Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions Office - HOW TO APPLY](http://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/international/faid.cfm)

Cornell University maintains only a very limited program of financial assistance for international students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Those who do receive funds have exceptional credentials and demonstrate financial need. This information is not intended to discourage you from applying, but to give you a realistic understanding of the nuances for receiving financial aid to attend Cornell.
