Fin. Aid Question

On BC’s website it says to allow for 4 weeks for the Profile and the FAFSA to process. This may be a stupid question, but does that mean I should have sent those out a month ago to be on time or simply that I souldn’t expect any confirmation for a month?

no as long as you send it in by the deadline your ok. they make the deadlines early to allow themselves time for processing and stuff. basically they are telling dont be worried if you dont get confirmed right away, cause they have thousands of apps to process

thanks alot, dude. i appreciate it.

Dear 25or6to4 : The “Chicago” moniker was well appreciated. On a serious note, financial aid is going to be seriously squeezed this year. Our advice is to get your paperwork completed, with tax return data, as soon as possible.

Agreed on the Chicago reference… very cool and the only song I can play on guitar.

BC is first-come, first-served for finaid. Most schools are like this… They start with a big pile and when it’s gone it’s gone. So you do stay in the running by meeting the deadline, but be forewarned that the early bird gets the finaid worm these days no matter where you go. All the schools are hurting.
