<p>Has anybody's financial aid from UT been released yet?</p>
<p>No it’s usually released closer to the first day of school, or even after that as late as 9/10, for regular aid. For scholarships, it can take much longer.</p>
<p>I received an email after deferring my tuition to federal grants saying</p>

pay the remaining balance by 5:00 PM on 09/10/2010
or your registration will be cancelled.”

<p>Does anyone know if this ever happens? I’m kind of relying on my financial aid.</p>
<p>Well, assuming you are getting the grants, you are fine. That warning is really just there in case you cancel your loans or lose a scholarship for some reason (I can’t think of one).</p>
