finaid question

i faxed over my parents' tax return and w-2 forms march 1, but i just got a confirmation email (because i requested one) saying that they have not received anything. i'm re-faxing them over today, but i'm afraid that i might have last consideration in aid because it's past the due date. should i be afraid????

We are in a similar position because we have not turned in a few documents yet, because we don't have them. We are pushing to get them there by April 1. (Long story - our taxes are very complicated due to living out of the country the past 3 years). They assured us that April 1 will be fine. The catch is that we might not get notified of any aid right away.

i sent mine certified mail and they were received the 27th of february... they siad it will probably be next week before they get all of them updated... they said not to worry. I've called them everyday since the 27th and every person ive talked to said the same

Certified mail is a safe bet. If they have your FAFSA and CSS, they can begin to process your financial aid application. Never quite sure why someone continues to call. Doesn't it slow down the entire process for EVERYONE?

no need to be nasty about trying to ensure my future matriculation options... anyway... they received mine but now they want schedule A. THAT kind of stuff slows down

ohhhhhhhhhhhh good come back, you're dirty

I wasn't being nasty.....just wondering how effective phone calls are? Especially if they say the same thing, each time? Your name appears to fit.

Wow... let's try and validate insults by poking fun at someone's name :)

2 for 2, on fire
