<p>Has anyone been dispersed their financial aid money yet? I have money left over after paying for tuition but it hasn't been sent to me via EFT yet. Just wondering if anyone else has received theres or not so I can figure out if there is something wrong. </p>

<p>After my Financial Aid was disbursed to my CARS account it now read this:</p>
<p>Minimum Amount Due Now: $0.00
Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $0.00
Account Balance: $0.00</p>
<p>I thought I was going to get a refund since I chose a triple instead of a double. The financial aid estimates for housing is priced for a double. This sucks!</p>
<p>Mine says the same thing but after doing my calculations I found that I should be getting a good chunk of money refunded to me. But I haven’t gotten anything…</p>
<p>Agreed. I should be getting about $2000, which is the difference I took into account when I chose a triple instead of a double.</p>
<p>Just got off the phone with the fin aid office. Turns out the refunds will be issued sometime this week. You will receive an email from the fin aid office when the refund is issued. I wish they would hurry up…</p>

<p>Same here, the FinAid office told me that my Cal Grant should be disbursed sometime today and nope, hasn’t happened. Although there is less than 40 minutes in the day left, but I’m not holding my breath. They’re certainly take their sweet time disbursing it. I mean, it’s not like there’s some sort of bill due next week. I hope this is not a common occurrence with the school.</p>

<p>Guys remember to log onto your Cal Grant website to confirm that you have graduated from HS. Without your confirmation they won’t send your Cal Grant at all!</p>

<p>I believe the account balance is the amount you will owe Berkeley later. You will have to pay 1.47k eventually, but it’s not due right now.</p>
<p>Go to your Finaid award. Figure out how much Gift Aid you were given for this semester. Then subtract whatever tuition + Health Insurance (if you have ship) + Reg Fees. You will either be in the positive, meaning you will get a refund to use for books, rent, etc, or you will be in the negative, in which case you will have to get a loan, job, or work-study. </p>
